<aside> ⭐ This group's main focus is on creating and maintaining the community. Next to this, due to the close contact that they have with the members, they can be seen as 'the face' of the CLT for the members.

The Asset-Based-Community Development (ABCD) methodology is used to build and sustain the community. This method is originally initiated by Kretzmann and McKnight in 1996 as an approach to empower communities by identifying and addressing their own problems through the use of the local assets that are available. Within the ABCD-method personal, collective and potential assets are identified and used.
Currently, the ABCD-method is widely applied and also in CLT's (Brussel) but certain problems arise: the proces is time consuming, it is hard to maintain momentum and it's and individualistic approach for communal problems. This is done to create the perfect collaboration between the members, the team and experts. By doing so, we make the best use of everyone involved and their expertises/talents. The experts (in our case present in the CLT-Team) will detect opportunities and connect different assets to create new assets and this will strengthen the community at the same time. Eventually, the members of this group will be educated to become ABCD-experts.
